Onboarding and Third party software

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If you use another 3rd party software to onboard your employees, you will need to choose whether you will onboard your new starters via this method or through the Onboarding option in WageEasy.

Should you send a new starter an Onboarding Invitation from both WageEasy and the other system, you will create two records. You will be able to determine the source of the record:

  • WageEasy Onboarding records will have WageEasy as the Source ID of 0 (zero)

  • Records from another system will have Web API as the Source ID of 5

If you have multiple records, you should review each one to determine which one to retain. The other record can be deleted (or rejected if an onboarding email has been sent).

To avoid creating multiple records, you will need to choose whether to onboard via the third-party system or to use WageEasy for Onboarding. To Opt out of Onboarding, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Access WageEasy.

  2. Select File, Company Details, Other, Onboarding.

  3. Select Opt Out.
