Opt into Onboarding

WageEasy Onboarding was introduced in version 8.1.0.8767 (September 2024) and by default this feature was turned on for all customers.

If the Onboarding feature was previously turned off and you now want to opt into or turn on the Onboarding feature, follow the steps below. You can also use these steps to complete the Opt In process. You will only be able to compete these steps if you are on version 8.1.0.8767 or higher.

Step One - Confirm Onboarding is set to Opt In

  1. Log into Access WageEasy.

  2. Go to File, Company Details, Other, Onboarding.

  3. Confirm Opt In has been selected.

  4. Click Close.

Step Two - Update Payroll Company

When Onboarding has been flagged as Opt In, the Onboarding tab will be available on the Payroll Company record. You can use these fields to customise information in the invitation email send to the new employee.

  1. Go to File, Company Details - This will be the name on the welcome email.

  2. Address, provides the Phone: & E-mail: information.

  3. Check the details are correct. Invitations cannot be sent to employees if details are missing, e.g. phone number.

  4. Company Name will default with the Name from the Company Details. You can update this if you want a different name to appear on the invitation email, when creating the Onboarding invite.

  5. The Support Email and Support Phone Number are your company contact details (e.g. Payroll or HR's contact details) should your new employees require assistance with the Onboarding process.

  6. Click Close to save.
