To ensure that the Payroll Software can successfully send data to the ATO, the following environmental items need to be configured correctly:

  1. TLS 1.2 security channel for web services is enabled by default on all involved operating systems and .NET Framework 4.8 or above is present (client, application server, SQL host server).

  2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Wage Easy Payroll\MCS\MicropayClientServicesService.exe is allowed and can communicate to superchoice.com.au domain and 203.3.142.164 via port 443 (i.e. whitelisting in firewall, proxy, and anti-virus is required)

  3. Please disable temporarily ALL firewall and anti-virus software on the machine and test STP reporting. For example, disable TrendMicro services and disable Windows Defender.
