If you are doing STP reporting 2025/2026 figures and are encountering a “Failed Gateway” error, please DOWNLOAD the query below and follow the instructions for running the query and resubmitting any 25/26 STP reporting.
Query for: Set QE Date
How to: Save a User Defined Query
Go to HR, User Defined Queries.
Select Set QE Start Date.
In the Query Parameters put a date past your system/computer date. If your computer is 02/07/2026, put the date of 03/07/2026 or higher in the QE Start Date, OK.
Set QE Start Date, OK, OK.
Close and reopen WageEasy.
Go back to your STP2 to process STP for FY2025/26.
Resubmit any STP for 25/26.
Important: It is crucial to re-run the query to reset to 01/07/2026 before submitting any further pay events for the new financial year of 26/27 to the ATO.
Return to HR, User-Defined Queries.
Select Set QE Start Date.
In the Query Parameters put in 01/07/2026.
Set QE Start Date, OK, OK.
Continue on with your normal payroll procedures.
