Change period overtime in this pay

How to override period overtime calculations or adjust award conditions after Timesheet entries in Wages have been entered.

In Wages, once the Timesheet has been entered, the award interpreter might calculate items such as Make-up Pay, Overtime, or Period Overtime. If you would like to override these items, on the Adjustments screen, go to the Next screen after Time Sheet, and select Award Hours from the left-hand side.

If Make-up Pay has been calculated because an employee did not work a full shift, double-click the day on the right-hand side and change the Minimum Hours value to be equal to the number of hours this employee has worked on the day. The Make-Up Pay will not be calculated anymore.

If Overtime has been calculated for an employee on a specific day and you want to pay it as normal, double-click the day and modify the Normal Hours. If the normal hours are increased, overtime will not be paid. If the normal hours are decreased, then overtime will be triggered.

If Period Overtime has been calculated and you want to get rid of the Period Overtime, select the Period Overtime tab at the bottom of the screen. Double-click the Period Overtime line at the top of this screen and change (increase) the Hours until Period Overtime is not triggered anymore. The rule of thumb is to add the number of hours being paid as Period Overtime to the Hours on the Edit Period Overtime screen.
