Pay slip messages on your employees' pay slips are a great way to communicate with your employees.
Pay slip messages can be added to your employees' pay slips in two ways:
Individual employees' pay slip
A message on an individual employee’s payslip is done at the time of processing Timesheets.
Go to Wages, Timesheet, and Next to the Adjustments screen.
In the Wages Adjustment screen, click Messages (bottom left of the screen).
Type your message to your employee in the text area on the right-hand side of the screen, Next.
This will take you to the payslip screen. On the payslip screen, you will see the message displayed at the bottom of the payslip. This is also what the employee will see on their copy of the payslip.
All Employees' Payslips
If you want all of your employees to receive a message on their pay slips, you need to save the pay slip message before processing your payroll.
Go to Setup, Messages, Add.
Enter a Start Date and End Date that you want your message to appear on your employees' pay slips.
Type the message; you can format your message with different fonts, colours, bolding, etc.
Click OK. Your message is now saved and will appear on your employees' pay slips that have a PPE date between your start and end dates.
Note: If you enter pay slip messages regularly, they do increase the size of your database, which may result in your WageEasy database slowing down.
