If your STP2 icon is disabled and you are unable to send STP Events, it may be due to incorrect permissions or an outdated version of WageEasy. You will need to check the Agent settings are correct, ensure you have the correct permissions, and verify that WageEasy is updated to the latest version.
To check you have this permission, you will need to sign into WageEasy as the ADMINISTRATOR and follow the below steps:
Setup, Passwords,
Select User/Password Administration,
Highlight the User that has the STP2 greyed icon, Edit User.
Scroll down to the bottom of Access Rights: tick the box for STP, OK, OK.
Ensure WageEasy is Updated to the Latest Version
If the STP2 tile remains greyed out after updating user permissions, the issue may be due to an outdated version of WageEasy. To resolve this:
Confirm the current version of WageEasy installed on your system.
Upgrade to the latest supported version of WageEasy.
After completing the upgrade, test the STP2 tile again to ensure it is accessible.
Additional Troubleshooting
If the STP2 tile is still inaccessible after completing the above steps, further investigation may be required. This could involve:
Verifying that the upgrade was successful and no errors occurred during the process.
Checking for any database-related issues that might be affecting access. For further assistance, contact WageEasy support for advanced troubleshooting.
