Employee is not syncing into WageEasy ESS

When syncing employees to ESS there are some parameters that need to be met to allow the flow through of information.

The following reasons will stop your employee from syncing to ESS:

  • If an employee has more than 15 characters in their Middle: or Known As: name, the employee will not Sync into ESS.

  • If an employee has more than 40 characters in their Last name.

  • If the employee does not have a Bank account, if the Account Name: is more than 50 characters

  • If the Super Fund name is more than 50 characters or has a special character (like an apostrophe ')

  • If the Member No is more than 20 characters.

To see what is stopping your employee from syncing into ESS you can also go to:

  1. Log into WageEasy, select the ESS Icon.

  2. Click on View Log.

  3. Scroll to the latest date and see if there are any errors.

You can also run a User Defined Query that you can download ESS Implementation Check this can also give you more information.

Save the downloaded query to the same location as your other User Defined Queries.

  • To check the query location

    • Log into WageEasy.

    • Select Setup, Preferences, Configuration, File Locations.

  1. Select HR, User Defined Queries.

  2. Browse to the query ESS Implementation check.

  3. Check in the fields, for e.g.: EmpMiddleNameIsMoreThan15Characters, if there is a middle name that has more than 15 characters.

  4. Select the employee and edit the employee's Middle: name.

  5. Select ESS and Send To ESS, Send All.
