WageEasy currently uses an approved SSP (Sending Service Provider), that is SuperChoice, to send Single Touch Payroll (STP) information to the ATO. You don't currently need to supply a SSID to the ATO.
Important: SuperChoice SSP Deferral (April 2026)
The ATO has agreed to defer the Cloud software authentication and authorisation (CAA) requirement for SuperChoice's Sending Service Provider (SSP) service. As a result, the compliance timeline for WageEasy customers using SuperChoice as their SSP has changed:
WageEasy customers are not required to register their Software Subscription ID (SSID) or complete a Cloud Nomination in ATO Access Manager by 30 June 2026
SuperChoice's technical implementation will be completed no later than March 2027
WageEasy customers must obtain their SSID and create a Cloud Nomination with the ATO no later than 1 July 2027
No additional exemption is required β the deferral applies to SuperChoice SSP users automatically
The Software ID used by SuperChoice is a shared SSP identifier, managed at the SSP level. No action is required from WageEasy customers at this time.
