ATO has requested WageEasy's SSID

WageEasy currently uses an approved SSP (Sending Service Provider), that is SuperChoice, to send Single Touch Payroll (STP) information to the ATO. You don't currently need to supply a SSID to the ATO.

Important: SuperChoice SSP Deferral (April 2026)

The ATO has agreed to defer the Cloud software authentication and authorisation (CAA) requirement for SuperChoice's Sending Service Provider (SSP) service. As a result, the compliance timeline for WageEasy customers using SuperChoice as their SSP has changed:

  • WageEasy customers are not required to register their Software Subscription ID (SSID) or complete a Cloud Nomination in ATO Access Manager by 30 June 2026

  • SuperChoice's technical implementation will be completed no later than March 2027

  • WageEasy customers must obtain their SSID and create a Cloud Nomination with the ATO no later than 1 July 2027

  • No additional exemption is required β€” the deferral applies to SuperChoice SSP users automatically

The Software ID used by SuperChoice is a shared SSP identifier, managed at the SSP level. No action is required from WageEasy customers at this time.
