Error message when Importing Timecards

When I am Importing my Timecards, I get an error " A payslip already exists for the employee in this pay period"

When Importing Timecards through the Automatic Pay Slip Wizard it is important to check that you have the correct PPE date that is within the file you are Importing.

Things to be aware of, and check when you Import Timecards:

  • Check the PPE date, if you are paying people in advance or forward dating you will need to manually change the PPE date. You may also want to select in your configuration to always manually select the PPE date. Follow the below steps to do this:

  1. Go to File, Company Details, Configuration, Pay Periods.

  2. Tick the box to Manually select Pay Period Ending (selected date will be used when company opened)

Note: By default, WageEasy Payroll HR automatically selects the pay period ending (PPE) immediately preceding the computers system date.

If I have opened WageEasy on December 11th and my next PPE is the 12th of December it will have the PPE date prior to the 11th of December.
