ATO Tax Tables for 2025/26 & Award Updates effective 1 July 2025

ATO tax table changes, Award pdls and EOY resources

There is no June 2025 software release for WageEasy; only the ATO Tax Tables update PDLs, as detailed below, and the Award update PDLs will be provided in early July.

Important: The tax table PDL must be applied when you are ready to process your first pay in the new financial year on or after 1 July 2025.

Tax Table changes for 2025/26 in PDL

The updated Tax Table PDL file contains the following Tax table Changes for 2025/26.

STSL

• Changes to STSL rates and thresholds.

Termination Tax Changes

• ETP Lower Cap increases from $245,000 to $260,000.

• Redundancy Component D – Initial Tax-Free value increases from $12,524 to

$13,100 and Annual Tax-Free value increases from $6,264 to $6,552.

Additional 2025/26 changes

Superannuation Changes

  • The statutory Super Guarantee percentage increases from 11.5% to 12% from 1 July 2025.

  • Superannuation Guarantee quarterly Contribution Cap decreases from $65,070 to $62,500. Please make these changes in each of your Awards prior to processing your first pay on or after 1 July 2025.

The updated Award PDL files will be available in early July 2025 for the following WageEasy supported Awards:

  • Registered & Licensed Clubs

  • General Retail Industry

  • Hospitality Industry General

  • Restaurant Industry
