This article will step you through setting up an Allowance in your Remote Timesheet Module. We will use First Aid as an example.
Add the Allowance to the Remote Timesheet module
Open the Remote Timesheet module.
Go to Data Entry, Allowances.
Right Click on the screen and select Add. You can also select the red button with the plus at the top of the screen.
In the Add New Allowance Record screen, enter the next available number. If you have no allowances, enter 1 in the Number.
Description = First Aid Allowance.
In Type, click on the drop down and select Unit Based.
In Amount/Units, enter 1.
Click OK, and the Allowance is now ready to be used.
Pay the Allowance
Once you have finished entering or verifying the Employee’s Hours on the Timesheet, select the Allowances tab.
Right Click on this Allowances screen and select Add to start the Allowance Wizard, Next.
On the Allowance screen, select the Allowance from the drop-down menu, Next.
In Units, enter the number of Units you need to pay. You will be instructed by your Head Office, what one unit represents and then be able to apply the correct amount as required. Click Next.
