Run an employee leave entitlement report as at a certain date

Can we run a leave entitlement report that is forward dated?

To run a leave report as at a certain date in the future or past, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Reports.

  2. Click Pay Period Reporting.

  3. Select Leave Entitlement by Employee and Date.

  4. Enter the Calculation Date you want the report to reflect.

  5. Click Preview Report.

To run a report for only a particular leave type, please follow the steps below:

  1. Use the drop down next to Leave List.

  2. Right click for Add/Edit/Delete.

  3. Select New List, and add the name to Name for this leave list.

  4. Select the leave and use the middle arrow to bring it into Leave Types in this Leave List:

  5. This will give you a report that will only pick up that particular leave type selected in the Leave List.

Note: Please read the below and consider when running this report.

  • When you have employees who have leave hours accrued on hours worked, you can tick the box to Project Leave Based on Average Hours Worked for hourly accruals. When selecting dates, keep in mind it is usually on consecutive weeks that have been paid, so advisable to check that the average is displaying correctly.

  • Although you are able to Project Leave Based on Average Hours Worked for hourly accruals, the system is unable to roll back, so figures will not be accurate in this instance.

  • If an employee has changed awards, you will also need to review the balances, as they may be inaccurate.

  • This report also allows for the inclusion or exclusion of approved planned leave in the future; you will need to tick the box Include future planned leave if it is approved.
